Who we are
The Amanah Collective is a faith-centered community for Muslim women in Switzerland, based in Zürich. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to The Amanah Collective. You can reach us at amanacollective@hotmail.com.
What data we collect
We only collect personal data you actively provide through our forms — for example, when you submit the join form (name, email, area of interest and an optional message), the event RSVP form (name and email) or the testimonial form (name, city and reflection). We do not track you across the web, do not run advertising cookies and do not build behavioural profiles.
Why we process your data
We use your data solely to respond to your request, to keep you informed about our events, programs and community updates, and to manage RSVPs and testimonials you submit. We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for their own marketing.
Where and how it is stored
Form submissions are stored in our secure database, hosted on Supabase infrastructure (EU region). Access is restricted to a small number of team members who need it to run the community. All connections are encrypted in transit.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep you informed about the collective. You can ask us to delete your data at any time and we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/DSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing trackers. Only essential technical cookies required for the site to function may be set.
